Exercise Assistant:

Lead chair exercises on Saturday mornings for assisted living residents. Exercise routines and props are provided. Exercise assistants are asked to prepare the room and return it to its original set-up. This is a one-hour commitment per visit.

Book Club Facilitator:

Guide participating residents in selection of books and discussion. One book is selected each month. The club meets on the last Friday of each month in the early afternoon.

Resident Escort:

Escort residents from their residences to activities, engage the residents in the activity and return them to their homes. All activities take place on Village grounds. Escorting opportunities are available daily, with the majority of requests occurring in the evening hours on Wednesdays and Thursdays and for Vespers on Sunday afternoons. Escorting opportunity time commitments vary depending upon the activity, most are within two-hours. Check back frequently for an updated listing of escorting opportunities.

Resident Companion Volunteer:

Provide one-on-one companionship for and interaction with residents. Develop a relationship with residents by providing emotional support and companionship, attending activities with the resident, and provide other comfort as appropriate. Requested time commitment is one-hour per week for six months.
