Andrew S. Gutwein, President (member since 2012)
As an attorney at Gutwein Law, Andy brings his strategic mind and business sense to his work in estate planning and estate administration. He enjoys breaking down complex planning strategies and making them understandable and relevant to his clients. Andy is a 1992 graduate of Purdue University, earning a B.S. in the Economics Honors Program, and a 1995 graduate of The National Law Center at The George Washington University, Washington, D.C.
Andy serves the profession and community in a variety of ways. He served as President for two years during his two, four year terms as the West Lafayette representative to the Tippecanoe County Council. Since 2010, Andy has served as counsel for the West Lafayette Board of Parks and Recreation.
In the past he has served as a faculty member for the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum, and is a graduate of Leadership Lafayette. Andy formerly served as President of the Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Wabash Valley, Inc., the Board of Directors of the Downtown Business Center, the Up with Downtown Implementation Committee, and as the President of the Board of Directors for the Housing Corporation for the Purdue Chapter of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. He has also served on the Steering Committee of the Greater Lafayette Venture Club, as a board member and officer of the Board of Directors of Family Promise, as a member of the Finance Committee at St. Thomas Aquinas Center in West Lafayette, board member of the Wabash River Enhancement Corporation, and as President of the Parish Council at The Church of the Blessed Sacrament in West Lafayette. Andy enjoys triathlons, water skiing, and spending time with his family.
