Westminster Village invites community to attempt to break Guinness World Record
On Monday, September 22, Westminster Village will host an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the most number of people in a chair-based exercise class. The current record is 384.
The community is invited to be part of the fun. Registration begins at 10 AM and the class will begin at 10:30 AM. The class will last approximately 40 minutes.
The event will take place outside the main entrance of Westminster Village, 2741 N. Salisbury Street. Participants should park at the Arni Cohen baseball fields at the corner of Cumberland and Salisbury; Westminster will shuttle participants to the site.
Participants are asked to bring two cans of food of about the same size to be used as weights during the class. The cans will then be donated to Food Finders Food Bank to serve our community in need.
All participants will receive a free t-shirt. If the group successfully breaks the world record then participants can also receive an official certificate from Guinness World Records.
